At Big Kahuna Spirits, our brand draws inspiration from legendary surfer Duke Kahanamoku, the vibrant surf culture and the Aloha Spirit of his native Hawaii. To honour his legacy and give back to the environment that inspired us, we are driven by a profound mission: to safeguard the oceans and preserve their endangered ecosystems, teeming with breathtaking biodiversity.

Therefore we established a partnership with the Coral Reef Alliance, an esteemed nonprofit environmental organization based in the United States. Since 1994, they have tirelessly dedicated their efforts to the protection of coral reefs, particularly in the Caribbean and Hawaii. Their primary focus is shielding these delicate ecosystems from the perils posed by human activities and climate change. Coral reefs provide vital habitats for countless marine species, but they face imminent threats from pollution and rising temperatures.

With every purchase of our 700ml Big Kahuna gin or non-alcoholic version 0.0, one Euro will be donated to the Coral Reef Alliance. Furthermore, our 5-liter refill containers, designed for the catering trade, contribute an even greater donation of five Euro per sale to support the cause. We are profoundly grateful for the overwhelming response and support that the Big Kahuna brand has garnered since its launch. With this success, we aim to make significant waves in raising awareness about the urgent need to protect our precious oceans.
